WAVES OF HER
About the Founder
Bettina Rose Jurák
Bettina Rose Jurák is a Hungarian-born movement artist, choreographer, and somatic educator working internationally across contemporary dance, film, fashion, and movement healing. Her artistic language is rooted in emotional depth, physical storytelling, and a deep devotion to the body’s innate wisdom.
She began dancing at the age of two and later trained at the Hungarian Dance Academy and the Art Secondary School of Pécs. Over the past decade, Bettina has performed with acclaimed companies such as Frenák, Éva Duda, and Badora in Hungary; Ivgi&Greben in the Netherlands; and GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in Sweden ~ where she worked with choreographers like Alexander Ekman, Emma Portner, and Johan Inger.
In 2024, she stepped into a freelance career, expanding her creative path across performance, film, and fashion.
Her credits include The Testament of Ann Lee (dir. Mona Fastvold, choreographer: Celia Rowlson-Hall), as well as collaborations with singer-songwriters RY X and Sarah Klang, and the Scapino Ballet. She has also worked with fashion houses such as Iris van Herpen and AERON.
Her work has been featured on Nowness, in ELLE, Glamour Hungary, and W by Roadster.
In 2025, she was nominated as Talent of the Year by ELLE Hungary, and previously received multiple national awards recognizing her as one of Hungary’s most promising young performers: the Best Career Entrant Dancer in 2016 and the Best Young Female Dancer in 2019.
THE ARTIST
Bettina is a movement and somatic teacher with a deep-rooted passion for the body as a living, feeling whole.
She completed her studies at the Hungarian Dance Academy as a dancer and dance coach. From a very young age, Bettina felt called to teach. She began by working with non-professional dancers, and over time her curiosity expanded beyond technique into a deeper exploration of the body in its entirety, approached through a somatic lens.
This pull led her to continue her studies in India, near the Himalayas, where she became a certified yoga, kriya, breathwork, and meditation teacher. Alongside this, she trained as a Swedish massage therapist and is also an Access Bars practitioner. Currently, Bettina is studying to become a trauma-informed somatic educator for women.
Bettina approaches the body’s unfolding with a holistic heart. She believes in the power of honest and safe connection, in coming home to ourselves, in feeling and fully inhabiting the body, and in remembering what it means to truly live within it.
Our bodies carry stories of emotion, wounding, and unspoken memory. Through gentle and intentional movement, Bettina creates space for body and soul to meet again, inviting rhythm, healing, and wholeness.
THE MOVEMENT TEACHER

About WAVES OF HER
WAVES OF HER was born from a quiet moment ~ a deep pause in the middle of movement. Founded by Bettina Rose Jurák, who has spent years traveling the world, working in ever-changing environments, and meeting people from all walks of life. In the midst of all this movement, she began to crave stillness.
A moment to pause. A place to land.
Between rehearsals, performances, flights, photo shoots, and endless cities, Bettina felt the growing need for more awareness, more presence:
time to rest, recharge, and reconnect with herself.
The idea for the brand came during a deep meditation.
A clear, soft knowing: to create something that supports people in protecting their energy, nurturing their bodies, and connecting with themselves ~ not just on the outside, but deeply within.
"Creating space and becoming more aware.
Choosing what feels good.
Letting ourselves soften.
Coming home to our own rhythm."

Within a short time, the vision took shape
~ and WAVES OF HER came to life: A house of art, events, rituals, products, and self-care.
A brand designed to nourish women ~ through products, workshops, retreats, 1:1 sessions,
and simple daily practices that support your body, calm your mind, and remind you to slow down.
To breathe.
To be.
